.Net Web Application Developer
If you are a .Net Developer with at least five years of experience
in software development, including at least three years experience
in .Net development, we have a great opportunity for you!
Required General Technical Skills and Experience:
- Object-oriented design and programming
- 5+ years web-based business application design and development
- N-tier architecture and component implementation
- Document management systems integration
- 5+ years total software development experience
- 3+ years experience performing software development using Agile
software development methodology
- Experience implementing changers that optimize system performance
- Web user interface design using server-side controls
- Extranet web implementation
- Database design and implementation
- Visual Studio 2005 including VB.NET, ASP 2.0, ADO.NET and Team
Foundation Server (at lease one completed production project using
these tools)
- .NET security patterns and practices
- SQL Server 2005 including Transact SQL
- Windows 2003 Server and XP operating systems and IIS 6 web server
- BS or higher in Computer Science or related degree
Responsibilities will include development, maintenance and
operations support of our web-based applications, using expertise in
Visual Studio 2005-based extanet web application architectures.
Senior Linux Systems Administrator
Job Responsibilities - Systems Continuity is looking for a
high-energy, self-starter Linux administrator to deploy and maintain
compay and client infrastructure. The responsibilities include
configuration and management of core Linux services, MySQL and Web
servers and open source system administration tools.
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in corporate IT with at least 3 years of
experience as system administrator in large Linux-based data centers
ensuring 24x7 operations (NOC)
- Familiarity with enforcing and maintaining SLAs using open
solutions (Cacti, Nagios, splunks,..) on Linux platform
- Proven experience developing automation scripts for deployment
(RPM) and backup, monitoring and management of applications,
databases (MySQL preferred), storage (Raid, SAN, NAS), load
balancers, firewall, switches, UPS
- Solid understanding of scalability, performance, bandwidth, high
availability and capacity planning related technologies and
procedures
- Familiarity with Perl and/or UNIX shells scripts
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Windows Server environment (Active
Directory, dfs, MS-Exchange) and related maintenance procedures
- Ability to resolve IT problems and escalations in timely fashion
- Strong verbal, written, communication and organizational skills
- Able to work as an individual and within teams in a dynamic,
multi-tasking early-stage environment
Preferred:
- Extensive knowledge in server and network security
- Hands-on experience deploying highly distributed or cloud
computing architectures
- Experience with virtualization techniques plus
Education:
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent is required
